In The environment project host Dennis van der Geest takes six people, with a very strong opinion about the environment, on a confronting journey.
They are set to work in the meat industry, they clean out polluted drainage systems and are confronted with birds covered in plastic. Meanwhile they live in a house that slowly fills itself with garbage; a confrontation with the amount of rubbish they themselves produce on a daily basis.
