Carrie ten Napel visits Dolmens, historic villages and national parks of Drenthe, a province in The Netherlands. She speaks to local people about their province. In every episode, accompanied by her father Evert, they’ll visit beautiful places which Evert holds dear.
The N34 between Coevorden and Zuidlaren is nationally knows as Dolmens Highway, a particularly special highway in the province Drenthe. Of the 52 dolmens in Drenthe, no less than 47 of them can be found along this highway.
A dolmen in Dutch is called ‘Hunebed’.
