In The poverty project! presenter Dennis van der Geest sends five people, with a very strong opinion about being poor in the Netherlands, on a journey to discover what poverty in the Netherlands actually looks like.
Is being poor always the result of laziness or bad judgement? The five contestants will live in the same house together. Their accommodation will get poorer throughout the series. Eventually they will loose the roof over their heads.
